Stanton Quiet Drive Motor - Refurb Service

Send us your 'poorly performing' Stanton JimmyJib Quiet Drive pan, tilt or roll motor and we will perform the following 14 step comprehensive refurbishing procedures:

• Visual Inspection & Pre-Test
• Disassemble housing
• Clean interior and exterior
• Replace O-Ring with new impregnated one
• Clean all gears and check for impediments, bent teeth etc.
• Disassemble motor and clean brushes and commutator
• Apply lubricant to brushes
• Reassemble motor
• Replace tether wire and 3.5mm jack, as necessary
• Apply lubricant to moving axles
• Test all gear mesh for no binding
• Reassemble housing with (4) new stainless steel black socket head cap screws
• Clean the brass gear and reset clutch screw
• Replace any missing fasteners
• Final Test

This will correct the following symptoms:

• Pausing, when attempting very slow movements, while zoomed in
• Cogging, when you get a bump in your movement, while zoomed in
